Introduction: Hi, welcome to my map story i will be teaching you all about global warming. Global Warming is very harmful. Global Warming effects the whole world.

Map story 1:
Title: California a awesome state.
Welcome to California!!! California is a beautiful place to be and to live. As you know California is a awesome place to live so it is very busy. There are all these cars on the road that pollute the air. California is one of the most polluted states in the U.S.A.

Map story 2:
Title: Florida my kind of place!!
Wow this is amazing I Love Florida!!! Florida has all these oceans around it. Tampa, Florida is a very popular destination for everyone. It is close to the beach and people love to go to the beach. In since Tampa, Florida is a popular destination everybody is at the beach and that can cause a lot of pollution in the ocean.

Map story 3:
Title: The great Chicago River
Chicago seemed like a perfect place to build a city with all its fresh water lake nearby. The Chicago River seemed like it would give good water forever. Yet it did not take long for people to discover that this fortune would not last long.In 1900 the river's flow was reversed to carry polluted water away from the city's fresh water supply. But the heart of the problem still remained. As population grew, so did pollution.

Map story 4:
Sumgayit was a major Soviet industrial center housing more than 40 factories manufacturing industrial and agricultural chemicals. These included synthetic rubber, chlorine, aluminium, detergents, and pesticides. While the factories remained fully operational, 70-120,000 tons of harmful emissions were released into the air annually. That means there will be lots of people polluting.

Map story 5:
Title: Little town Mississippi
Beach pollution is a problem in every coastal state. In the year 2002, beach pollution caused at least 12,184 closings and swimming advisories at ocean, bay, Great lakes, and some freshwater beaches. This pollution is hazardous to the environment. This also includes the Mississippi River.

Map story 5:
Title: Wow so much smoking
"Las Vegas' relentless growth has raised concerns that the city's expansion will send more pollutants into Lake Mead, hurting water quality in the nation's biggest reservoir and the source of drinking supplies for millions in Southern California and the Southwest. With each new subdivision in the southern Nevada desert, more wastewater and urban runoff drains into Mead, a sparkling blue national recreation area but also the receptacle for all of metropolitan Las Vegas' treated sewage.

Map point 6:
Title: The least polluted state
Hawaii has expended much effort to gain cooperation and support from significant entities both inside and outside the state. Its success in working with other groups to make headway in controlling nonpoint source pollution is evident in the following successes in the Pearl Harbor Bay watershed.

Map point 7:

Title: The cheese state
This gets interesting. The flatulence from ruminants (cattle etc.) contains high levels of methane because their guts convert cellulose to starches and sugars. Methane is a powerful greenhouse gas, 21 times as bad for the environment as carbon dioxide. The methane generation rate is dependent on what the cow eats - some foods are gassier than others. Experts in agriculture spend a lot of time devising the best, least gassy diets for cows.

Map point 8:
Title: The big country
Automobile and industrial emissionsis the biggest polluter in this city.

Map point 9:
Title: The top most polluted car
The **Hummer H2** might be an obvious target for environmentalists, but unless it’s caked in mud, the hulking sport utility vehicle isn’t the filthiest ride on the road. That distinction goes to another SUV: the **Volkswagen Touareg V10 TDI**.

Map point 10:
Title: Honda Insight
The Honda Insight is a hybrid electric vehicle manufactured by Honda and the first production vehicle to feature Honda's Integrated Motor Assist system. The first-generation Insight was produced from 2000 to 2006 as a three-door hatchback.

Conclusion: I hope you enjoyed my Map story. I hope you learned all about Global Warming just like i did. Now get out there and save are planet!!!!!
